Astros second baseman Jose Altuve and Dodgers utilityman Mookie Betts led the field of Silver Slugger honorees, which included seven first-time winners.

Harper captured the award for the fourth time overall. He won his previous three Silver Sluggers as an outfielder.

Ohtani’s historic 50/50 season earned the Dodgers star his third Silver Slugger award as the top DH in his league. Hernandez also won his third Silver Slugger award.

Altuve’s seven Silver Sluggers are tied with former Chicago Cubs star Ryne Sandberg for the most by a second baseman in MLB history. Altuve sits No. 2 on the all-time postseason home runs list (trailing only Manny Ramirez), and he’s just one of three second basemen this century to win an MVP award (joining Dustin Pedroia and Jeff Kent).
