Birmingham residents have a lot of different thoughts on what Birmingham’s new $46 million downtown concert venue should be called. The Birmingham News asked readers “Birmingham’s new downtown concert venue will be called the Coca-Cola Amphitheater. What do you think it should be called instead?” on Facebook.

The Coca-Cola Amphitheater, currently under construction in Birmingham, is set to host Thomas Rhett on Friday, June 27. Rhett is the second show announced for the new venue. It was announced in October that Teddy Swims would perform at the amphitheater on Aug.

Coca-Cola Bottling Company United has signed a 10-year deal for naming rights at the amphitheater, according to Conrad Rafield, board chairman of Coca-Cola United. No dollar figure for the deal was announced on Tuesday at a press conference held at the amphitheater site, near the corner of 15th Avenue North and 25th Street North.
