Afternoon temperatures were in the upper 60s to low 70s Thursday as weak high pressure continued in the region. Lows tonight will be in the upper 40s to low 50s as a weak disturbance passes through the PNW. Areas of low clouds and fog to start Friday, with a possible passing sprinkle in the morning.

A strong ridge of high pressure over the Pacific Northwest will send temps soaring into the 90s Thursday for most of the central and south Puget Sound areas. A Heat Advisory is in effect for most of Washington State Thursday and Friday as unusually hot weather hits the Northwest.

Clouds will be around to start Wednesday with a few sprinkles possible. The clouds will slowly decrease as the day continues with more sunbreaks in the afternoon. Highs Wednesday will be several degrees warmer as high pressure starts to build back in,
